How will it work?
We have recorded a new greeting and a new options menu, so you can choose which department or service you wish to be transferred through to. Once you choose the service you require, you should be put straight through. This makes it easier to reach the person you want, and easier to make an appointment.
Your call may be put in a queue, depending upon how busy the surgery is when you call. This often depends on the time of day as the first two hours of surgery opening is usually the busiest. During our busiest times, our team may not be able to answer all of the calls, so even with extra lines you may have to wait for your call to be answered. Your call will be allocated to the most appropriate person to deal with your enquiry and the engaged tone is all but eliminated in practices with a Surgery Line system.
