Colin Clamp qualified from Guy's hospital, London in 1983, with honors and distinction in dental surgery. He also recently gained distinction in the Diploma of Restorative Dental Practice. He worked at the practice as an associate until 1987, took a year out travelling, and returned to buy the practice in 1998. He has since been the sole owner.

He has been appointed as a trainer for the Vocational Training Scheme for the last fifteen years, and is an approved Denplan dentist.

He is currently on the North East Essex Dental Postgraduate Committee, and has just completed the Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice at the International Centre for Excellence in Dentistry, Eastman Dental Institute, London. This will lead on to an MSc

This five year course has led to qualifications in being able to provide implants, in addition in qualifications in modern dental materials and a year long update on current dental techniques.
