You apply a gel to the teeth for a couple hours a day for two weeks using a customised transparent shield.

For the tray system we make a customised transparent plastic film that fits over your teeth and is removable (the ‘tray’). Inside this you place a bleaching gel and wear the trays for a couple of hours a day, and repeat this for two weeks.

During this time the teeth will become more porous and so it is not a good idea to eat or drink foods that may stain the teeth (such as tea, red wine, curries, berries).

You can use these trays after a few years if you wish to re-whiten your teeth, with some fresh gel.
