A number of different types of implants and techniques exist with dental implant therapy. At Manningtree Dental practice, each case is assessed in great detail. As a patient, your clinical options will be fully discussed with you and a treatment plan established to reflect your unique needs. The length of your treatment can range from 3 to 12 months depending on the complexity of your care. Mr Clamp has undergone two year long courses at the Eastman Dental Hospital, the international centre of excellence in postgraduate dental education, and gained the certificate in surgical and prosthetic implantology, and the certificate in advanced implantology. For the more complex cases, we are assisted by Carl Manhem, an implant specialist in Harley Street and senior lecturer in implantology at the Eastman. |

Implants-overdenture
Implants can be used to help retain and support a loose denture.
Press stud attachments can be placed into a denture that clips onto two implants. This is an extremely effective way of stabilising and retaining a denture that is otherwise loose. This is a great compromise to having all of the lower teeth on an implant supported bridge which may otherwise be expensive or dificult through lack of bone.
